So here i am nearly a week after i lost my beautiful big blog on the Universal Energy that surrounds us! I am not sure I will find the same flow I had but I will give it a good go....!
So my blog all started when one of the fellow producers I was in Berlin with asked me 'so what is this energy thing you work with' and to be fair to her I was asked the same question by the guy who is going to design my logo for Hands On Animal Healing which is the name of my animal healing practice.
So what is this energy....? I am not sure i still know the whole answer as I am still learning so can only share my experience!
My first experience of feeling the universal energy was an emotional one. My big sister had told me she was heading off to Nepal to do her Reiki Master and after I had got the map out to look up exactly where Nepal was I had said I might go with her but more to do Yoga and Meditation - I didn't know what this Reiki hokas pokas thing was all about - so my sister arrived at my house to show me!!
My sister would waffle on about 'energy' and 'intention' and other words I had no idea what she was talking about but since she gave a good massage i just smiled and nodded! So the day she turned up to show me what Reiki was all about i had decided i would of course smile and nod. She asked me to hold both my hands out palms facing up, which i did. She then held her hands over mine and started to push her hands down towards mine. There must have been about 6 inches of nothing between our hands when i started to feel something and as she gently pushed in i could feel my sisters energy pushing against mine - she wasn't touching me and was inches away from my hands but i could clearly feel something. i started to cry as i had never felt anything like this in my life and feeling this made me excited but also a bit out of control. As my sister moved her hands up and down i could feel the energy more and more. My sister then guided me to hold my own hands 6 inches apart from each other - palms facing and to start pushing in and out so that i could feel my own energy - OH MY GOD I CAN FEEL MY OWN ENERGY! That's what i felt and i quickly became addicted to doing this - i would do it all the time when i would remember i could do it and for the first few seconds i couldn't feel anything but then suddenly like a magnetic field i would make the connection to my own energy. HOW AMAZING!
It was during my Reiki 1 in Nepal - of course having become addicted to feeling my own energy i went to Nepal so that i could experience more of other peoples energy but also working with the all important 'Universal Energy'. I really enjoyed working with the energy and helping people - I bonded well with Emma who was doing Reiki 1 with me when I gave her a Reiki session and could feel a strong magnetic force from her knee area - little did i know she felt like i was pulling her knee upwards! its amazing what we can feel as we are healing and being healed.
So the place to start with energy is to start to feel your own - make energy balls! my most favourite past time!! hold your hands 6 inches apart, palms facing each palm, until you start to feel the energy connect between your hands - once you feel this connection move your hands apart so the energy feels weaker then move your hands back together so it feels stronger and move your hands around as if you are passing a ball from one hand to the other - you will feel the energy move from one hand to another - TRULY AMAZING AND SO ADDICTIVE!
