Where to start?!

Ok so I am a Trainee Healer having started my journey just over 2 years ago with a trip to the beautiful country Nepal to learn Reiki One with my big sister Karen, who was doing her Reiki Master.  My experience in Nepal has changed the way I think about life and has set me off on a journey like no other - it has been a huge learning curve and there is more to come!

It took me a year after my trip to Nepal to decide how I wanted to use what i had learnt in Nepal, although I always knew it would be to help animals as well as humans.  So last February I signed up to do a Diploma in Animal Healing with Elizabeth Whiter down in East Sussex - this would mean me committing to 4 x 4 day modules and the final written exam day.  Committing to anything in advance like this is hard for me as I work freelance in Film and TV so when jobs come up I have to do them as earning money unfortunately has to come first.

I did know from the start that no matter what happened work wise I would make all of these dates and would a year later be a qualified professional animal healer and guess what?  Exactly that has happened - here I am fully qualified a year later.  Isn't the Universe amazing how it helps you to make things happen if you really want them and they are right for you.

So now I am continuing my journey and my learning by doing as many courses that I am drawn to as I can - at the moment these are Masters of Mediumship, Colour Therapy, Bach Herbal Remedies, Emotional Freedom Techniques and Tellington Touch and plan on writing about these courses and my spiritual development and continuing journey in this blog so I can share with you the joys and pitfalls of this journey and hopefully help you out with any questions you may have - like - 'where to start?'!
